【国際教育】フィリピン短期留学④
フィリピン交流プログラム4日目、MCNスポーツ校内大会2日目。
今日も素敵な朝食ビュッフェを済ませた後、私たちはMCNへ向かい、スポーツ校内大会に参加しました。昨日、生徒たちは明日の受賞式で何か披露したいかと尋ねられ、迷わず承諾しました。そのため今日の自由時間は、昨日できた友達と交流を深めたり新たな友達を作ったりしながら、明日のパフォーマンスの準備に充てられました。全員に贈られたMCNのスクールチームシャツを着用することもできました。
9時にルンピアとエンパナーダを軽食にいただき、その後もバディや新しくできた友達と過ごしました。昼食にはカルデレタを楽しみ、デザートにサバ・コン・イェロを味わいました。
その後、パイプリレーに参加する番が回ってきました。5チーム中4位と少し苦戦しましたが、経験したことのないゲームを体験できました。
放課後、帰りの時間になると生徒たちはとても悲しんで「もう帰らなきゃいけないの？」と尋ねました。その様子は本当に嬉しく、彼女たちはすでに明日の登校を楽しみにしている様子でした。
夜は明日の練習に加え、プールで過ごし、ホテルに特別に届けられた食堂調理の夕食を楽しみました。

Day 4 of the Philippine exchange program and Day 2 of MCN Sports Intramurals.
After another wonderful breakfast buffet, we made our way to MCN to take part in their Sports Intramurals (sports festival). Yesterday, our students were asked if they would like to perform something during tomorrow's awards ceremony and they said yes without hesitation so during their free time today they spent it mixing with the friends they made yesterday and making new ones while also preparing for tomorrow's performance.
They were also all able to wear their new MCN school team shirts they were gifted. At 9, they had Lumpia and Empanada for snacks before more time with their buddies and their new friends.
At lunch, they enjoyed Caldereta and Saba con Yelo for dessert. After it was their turn to take part in Pipe Relay. It was a little bit difficult, coming in 4th out of 5 teams but they were able to experience another new game they had never tried before.
After school, when it was time to leave, our students were very sad and asked why they had to leave already which was wonderful to hear. They were already looking forward to going to school tomorrow.
The evening was spent practicing for tomorrow as well as some time in the pool and enjoying the canteen-prepared dinner that was delivered to the hotel just for us.
