【国際交流】フィリピンからミリアムカレッジの生徒５名が１０日間のプログラムに参加しました
ミリアム・カレッジ・ハイスクールのみなさん、ご来校ありがとうございました！
6月1日から10日まで、フィリピンの素晴らしい姉妹校であるミリアム・カレッジ・ハイスクールのみなさんが当校を訪問してくださいました。5名の生徒さんは、1年生の国際キャリアコースのホームルームに参加し、通常の授業や体育祭にも参加しました。特に、アスレチックコースレースやコスプレレースなど、これまで見たことのない競技を体験することができました。また、特別講師による茶道クラブも体験できました。さらに、放課後や週末には、バディと一緒に人気のスポットを巡るなど、楽しい時間を過ごしました。
ミリアムの生徒たちは、寮やシェフが用意してくれた食事はもちろん、外食もとても楽しんでいました。食事の時間でバディとの絆はとても深まりました。最終日には、たくさんのハグや涙と共に、プレゼントの交換をして、今後も連絡を取り合う約束をしました。
今回の経験は私たちにとって大きな喜びでした。ご来校いただき、本当にありがとうございました。皆さんは私たち全員に深い印象を残してくれました。1月にミリアムを訪れる交換留学の際に皆さんに会えるのを楽しみにしています！
Between June 1st to June 10th, we had our wonderful sister school from the Philippines visit us. The five students joined our first year International Career Course homerooms and took part in regular classes as well as our Sports Day! They were able to see games that they hadn't seen before, especially the Assault Course Race and the Cosplay Race.They were also able to experience Tea Ceremony Club held by special teachers! Additionally, after school and on the weekend, they were able to enjoy visiting popular spots with their buddies.
The Miriam students absolutely enjoyed the food, both served by the dorm and the chef, and when eating out. But the best part of the experience is their bond with their buddies in particular. On their final day, there were a lot of hugs, tears and gifts exchanged with promises to keep in touch.
They were an absolute joy to have and we miss them already. Thank you all for coming. You have all left a deep impression on all of us and we look forward to seeing you when we visit Miriam in January for our exchange!! We love you!
